Group Leader/Senior Scientist (#3700)

The Position
The successful candidate will work as part of the Product Development team providing expertise to support the advancement of non-clinical and clinical programs.
Essential Duties:
- Design pharmacokinetic, toxicokinetic and ADME studies.
- Review pharmacokinetic, toxicokinetic and ADME protocols and reports and provide feedback to management.
- Monitor externally conducted studies.
- Prepare and present project data and supporting information to management.
- Interact with various departments, including the Research and Clinical teams.
- Supervise members of the analytical development team.
- Interact with external collaborators.
- Contribute to regulatory document submissions.
- Contribute to report generation, patent applications, scientific literature and conference presentations.
The Candidate
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications, experience and personal competencies:
- Doctorate degree (with minimum 5 to 7 years experience) in chemistry, biochemistry or related discipline.
- Proven knowledge in pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism is required.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in pharmacokinetic analysis using WinNonLin.
- Proven experience in the quantitation of small molecules in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS.
- Ability to work independently and previous supervisory experience.
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to excellence and teamwork.
- Attentive to details, including good observation skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
